Remove EXIF Metadata from Photos

Create a new image file without common embedded photo metadata such as GPS location, capture time and camera details.

🔒 Selected files are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to TOOLKIT servers.
Files are saved in their original image format (JPG→JPG, PNG→PNG). Multiple files are packaged into one ZIP.

How to use this tool

  1. Choose one or more JPG, PNG or WEBP images.
  2. Select Remove metadata.
  3. Save the cleaned image, or download the ZIP when multiple files are selected.

Helpful notes

What is removed?

Re-encoding the image removes common EXIF metadata that can include location and device information. The visible pixels remain the main content of the new file.

Check sensitive files before sharing

Metadata removal is useful for privacy, but it does not hide information visible inside the photo itself. Review the actual image before posting or sending it.
